Rod Ends and Sphericals

Boston Gear rod ends and spherical bearings are intended for applications using linkages where a bearing must accommodate significant misalignment under heavy radial or thrust loads involving slow rotation or oscillation.
Our spherical bearings are normally mounted in a pre-designed housing, while the rod ends are provided in a housing that is attached to the linkage by the integral thread. Rod ends are available in both left and right hand - as well as male and female thread designs for exceptional versatility.
Features
- Capable of misalignment up to + or - 8 degrees
- Our rod ends and spherical bearings handle misalignment while transmitting motion for the smoothest operation possible.
- They are plated for corrosion resistance to promote longer life.
- Available in both left and right hand threads, as well as male and female threads, these rod ends and spherical bearings accommodate a variety of design configurations.
- Self-lubricating liners and lubricators are available for greater maintenance convenience.
- Spherical bearings have a lubrication groove on the OD of the bearing for increased durability and efficiency.
- Light- to extra-capacity duty models mean a solution for every need.
