Series CCC centrifugal overload clutches are often used on the “anti-spin” of bowl type crushers to maintain product uniformity. These mechanical torque limiters are often positioned on ball and sag mill main drives to protect from sudden torque rise. Series CCC units are also used to assist the soft start of heavy inertia loads on fans and inclined conveyors.
