Boston Gear offers a wide range of ODP (open drip proof) AC motors, including brake motors. These motors are offered in C-Face models for mounting to our enclosed gear drives, and they are available in 1/6 - 20 HP and cover voltage ranges from 115 VAC to 460 VAC. These motors are ideally suited for use in environments where dust or other particles can't enter the louvers through the bottom.

Features and Benefits

Our ODP AC motors are equipped with NEMA mounting flanges to accommodate C-face mounting to our flanged gear reducers. They are made to suit the needs of loads with stopping and holding torque requirements. These motors are smaller in size per horsepower than enclosed motors, providing valuable space savings on the plant floor. In addition, louvers on the bottom of the unit increase the motor's cooling capability.
